Drake Tax hosted by Rightworks is $114 per user for 1–9 users, according to Drake Software. OneUp starts at $35.99 per user a month, with Professional at $45.99 and Total Practice, our unlimited CPA hosting plan, at $109.99. OneUp prices are locked for 12 months so that you see no surprises in invoices.

Drake Software's Rightworks FAQ says there is no trial or demo of Rightworks available. OneUp offers a 15-day free trial with your own software, and no credit card is needed.

Rightworks runs on shared servers. Every OneUp plan runs on a private dedicated server, so your resources aren't shared with other firms.

With OneUp, yes: our engineers install and configure any Windows app or integration you use, including integrations that sync around the clock. In-house custom apps are reviewed case by case. Rightworks offers add-ons from its AppHub catalog, some for an additional fee.

OneUp keeps backups for up to 120 days in three locations across Tier III/IV data centers. Rightworks Cloud Hosting keeps backups for 90 days; its custom-priced Cloud Premier plan keeps hourly snapshots for two years.

Rightworks' Terms and Conditions say committed terms renew automatically for a year unless you give 60 days' notice, and that leaving early makes the remaining months' fees due. Check your own agreement for the exact terms. OneUp needs 30 days' notice at any time, with no cancellation fee, and hands over your data free.
